I started my career on construction sites, working alongside my father on high-rise buildings, townhouses, and apartment complexes. That hands-on foundation gave me an edge most real estate professionals don’t have — I understand properties from the ground up. In my early 20s, I transitioned into building single-family homes, learning what truly makes a property valuable to both families and investors.

But I wasn’t satisfied just building homes — I wanted to help people acquire them too. So I earned my real estate license, then my mortgage license, then kept going. Over the years, I also obtained my property management, strata, and finally my broker’s license, allowing me to open my own real estate and mortgage brokerage. I hired, mentored, and trained agents and brokers, and grew into the top 1% of license holders in Canada.

Then I took everything I’d learned and started investing myself — in both Canada and the U.S. I began acquiring off-market properties, distressed deals, and overlooked gems long before they hit the MLS. I built systems, made mistakes, reinvested profits, and eventually created REIStar, a platform to help other investors do the same.

Today, I use my experience to guide buyers and investors who are tired of bidding wars and waiting for “the right listing” to show up on the MLS. I help them tap into private deals, creative financing, and smart investment strategies — the kind that most people don’t even know exist.
